“A SUNDAY AFTERNOON” SMALL BLACK LANTERN

$135.00

Originally manufactured for candles, this lantern is wired to illuminate a detail of “A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte,” painted between 1884-1886 by French artist Georges Seurat. Printed on special backlit material, the images are affixed to the glass using an industrial adhesive around the perimeter. The result is a unique, in-the-round visual experience that you can pick up by the handle. Small Black Lanterns are hand-made, are assembled on-demand, and are sure to astonish whether turned on or left off.
