This vintage fruit-box, with a leather handle, is wired to illuminate an architectural detail photograph of the Gateway to Hien Lam at the Imperial City in Hue, Vietnam. In traditional Vietnamese culture, in addition to being a symbol of the emperor’s power, the dragon brings rain to agriculture and represents the universe, life, existence, and growth.
