This deck light was originally used during WWII as a signal-light to communicate with other ships and for other general purposes. The battery has been replaced with wiring and the lens with an image of a fire. Printed on special backlit material, the image is layered between sheets of plexiglass and affixed with industrial adhesive. Darkroom Lights are one-of-a-kind works of art and unlike anything else you will find elsewhere.
