Decorated in decoupage, this refurbished lamp is covered in a collage made from pages of a concordance of Roman and early-Christian events and orations published during the late 19th century. “Decoupage”, derived from the French word for “to cut out” or “cut from something”, dates as far back to the 12th century or more, but came to the forefront as an artistic medium in 18th century Italy.
